My Golf Date was the idea of a golfing couple that have actively played the game for around 20 years. They realised that most enthusiastic players in the UK spend a lot of time in the company of fellow golfers, and many are looking for more friends who think the same way and want to share their love of golf.
They teamed up with another couple to explore the idea of a dedicated internet service for Golfers. The business was formed in November 2004 and is working now to build membership through advertising and promotions in the golfing press and daily newspapers.
